Meeting goals

The goals of the Canadian Concussion Network-Réseau Canadien des Commotions (CCN-RCC) Annual Meeting include:

  • Sharing up-to-date concussion research findings
  • Supporting networking among concussion researchers, trainees, and stakeholders
  • Identifying opportunities for collaboration
  • Promoting technological innovation and product development
  • Supporting concussion best practice and policy 


Submissions to the CCN-RCC Annual Meeting must address at least one of the following aspects of concussion: Prevention, Detection/diagnosis, Prognosis/modifiers, and/or Treatment.


Session formats

Submissions are being accepting for the following session types:

  • Symposia (60 minutes)
  • Individual scientific abstracts (posters or oral presentations)


Meeting participation

The CCN-RCC Annual Meeting will be held in person at the Delta Hotels Victoria Ocean Pointe Resort in Victoria, BC. All participants, including presenters, will be required to register for the Meeting.


The Meeting organizers and CCN-RCC Executive Committee support and will follow the rules and emergency orders set out by the Government of Canada to limit the spread of COVID-19. Participants will need to follow any and all requirements for local, out-of-province and international visitors to BC in order to attend the Meeting and refunds will not be provided for individuals unable to meet these requirements.

Key Dates
